About our School:  The World School is a cooperative learning community for ages 4 and up.  Our sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9am-2pm.  Students will spend a majority of the day outside.  The curriculum is student determined.

Accommodations On Site:  The World School is for building community!  Thanks to our partnership with Sanilles, we will occupy the entire location and we are offering a range of accommodations onsite at a reduced rate available exclusively for families with students attending The World School.  SPACES ARE LIMITED.  Options include:

• • Large room with private bath* (sleeps 2)- 385 Euro/month
  • Family room with private bath (sleeps 4-5) - 550 Euro/month
  • Small apartment (sleeps 4-5) - 990 Euro/month
  • Hostel-style bed in a bunk-house - 110 Euro/month
  • Entire 6 bed bunk-house (sleeps 6) - 500 Euro/month
  • Entire 12 bed bunk-house (sleeps up to 12) - 700 Euro/month
  • Camper/Camper Van Space with electric/water- 220 Euro/month

*A section of these are reserved for solo parent+1 child families

Tuition cost:  $350USD/month

What's Included: Tuition cost covers school tuition only.  If excursions are planned it will be organized in advance with parents, and families will be expected to pay their share of costs.  Housing costs include room, electricity, water, and access to the common areas.

What's not Included: Meals are not included.  There are multiple kitchens, including a commercial kitchen at Sanilles. Families will have the option of joining community meals or coordinating kitchen time.

How to Register:  Complete the online application here, you will find a link below.  Our teachers will review it and contact you if they have any questions or concerns.  Once your application is approved, we will email you a registration form, and deposit instructions.  A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required at the time of registration.

How to Reserve Housing:  After your registration you will receive instructions for reserving housing.  These reduced monthly rates are only available through The World School.

What else should I know:  We assume that families will educate themselves on visa requirements, specifically the Schengen Zone limitation for many countries that limit time within the EU-zone to 90 days.  Please be aware also that there are a pool and streams on-premises.  Also check out our FAQ here

Volunteer:  As partners with Sanilles, we've been invited to participate and volunteer as a group on improvement projects on site.  We especially invite families with experience and desire to help with building, plumbing, electricity, solar panels, or dam building!  Please mention if you have these skills in your application.
